About the Hajj

As of ‘2021, Hajj Services are provided through an app called NUSUK. Intended Hajjis are required to register in the initial stages.

Payment arrangements and Hajj Services including flights are arranged through the Nusuk App.

Some agencies in the USA are contracted through the NUSUK organizers to arrange flights from the USA to Saudi Arabia and back to the USA.

This year, (‘2024), will be the same system as last year (‘2023), for performing the Hajj. The first requirement is the Registration. The second requirement is choosing a program when you get approval from the registration. The third requirement is your payment through the NUSUK app.

The contracted agencies here in the USA will be able to send a guide/imam with you until you reach the hotel in Saudi Arabia. The guide/imam cannot assist you during the Manasik (Hajj Days) unless the agency buy a program for that guide/imam like what you bought.

Now, when you go to Mena on the first day of Hajj, the NUSUK operators will drop you off at different locations in Mena. Even though that guide/imam buys a program, he might not be able to be with you because he also will be dropped off somewhere different than you. This is why Hajj-U.S.A Travels will not be able to participate because we will bot be able to be together and as a result we cannot provide a one-on-one service to you.

In the last days leading up to the Hajj last year (“2023), there was a program that was availible called “Manasik only”. It was selling for $3,500.00.

In the “Manasik Only” program, the Ministry of Hajj will only provide you with services during the “Hajj days” in Mena, Arafah, and Muzdalifah. They will give you the buses and leaders to get you to various places. You will have to buy your flight through any agency or the internet to get to Saudi Arabia. You can book your own hotel in Saudi Arabia through the internet. You can book your own transportation by using taxis or train between Makkah and Madinah.

Some of the previous Hajj providers/travel agencies, may offer airline, hotel, and transportation in this “Manasik Only” program. Keep in mind that they cannot provide you any spiritual service in the places mentioned above except if they buy that same program that you bought and is in the same location as you.

According to sources, there are only 3,500 visas allocated to the USA for this year “2024.

From last year’s experience, programs were available from $20,000.00 down to $3,500.00. We advise prospective Hajjis to register and wait. Whatever program you chooses after that will determine how much money you will spend.

Please attend classes and watch youtube videos before you travel for the Hajj because you will have to figure out stuff for yourself.

General Umrah Information

Valid passport with 6 months minimum validity from date of intended travel.

One passport size picture with a plain white background.

US passports will receive visa without having to send their passport or picture by mail.

Non-US passports will not receive an Umrah visa unless the original passport, the original greencard or the original work visa is mailed to us.

Visas that allow someone to perform Umrah are “Tourist Visa” and “Umrah Visa”.

Only American passports will be given a Tourist Visa.

Non-US passports will be given an Umrah Visa.

Carribean Nationals living in Guyana, Trinidad etc, do not have to send their original passport. We will arrange their visas differently.
